Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome all guests warmly to create a friendly atmosphere.
  2. In the food service area, adhere to recipes and food preparation standards, ensuring proper wrapping and labeling of food items.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of food areas, upholding company standards and following food safety and sanitation protocols.
  4. Efficiently operate the cash register, processing transactions with a friendly demeanor to reduce guest wait times.
  5. Ensure the food service area is consistently clean and visually appealing.
  6. Monitor stock levels on the sales floor, including coolers and hot food displays, rotating products and maintaining full inventory to meet guest demands.
  7. Exemplify company values and adhere to established programs, processes, and policies.
  8. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager or designated personnel in their absence.
  9. Capability to fulfill the essential functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodations.

Working Relationships: Collaborate with store team members, Store Manager, District Manager, and various corporate personnel and vendors.

Experience Requirements:

Preferred: 3-6 months of experience in retail or guest service within a restaurant setting.

Licenses/Certifications and Skills: ServSafe/Food Safety certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Soft Skills:

  • Comfortable engaging with guests and team members.
  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to transition quickly between tasks.
  • Team-oriented, willing to assist others.
  • Basic computer skills are beneficial.

Scheduling: This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, requiring flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends, as store hours may vary.

Hours & Conditions: Part-time (up to 29 hours) and full-time hours available.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel, approximately 5%.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand or walk for 8 hours daily, perform overhead reaching, bending, squatting, twisting, and working in cooler environments. The noise level in the workplace is typically moderate.

Additional Information: Specialized attire is required in food service environments.

Desired Previous Experience: A high school diploma (or equivalent) or relevant retail experience is preferred. Proficiency in computer skills and current Food Safety Certification is advantageous.
