Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and diverse stakeholders.
Licensure and Certification Requirements
  • Valid Maryland License: Valid Maryland license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the Maryland State Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Maryland Department of Education Certification: Maryland Department of Education certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the public schools.
  • Commitment to Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards set by ASHA and the Maryland State Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists.
