Full-time position from 3 PM to 11 PM

About Us:
Rappahannock Westminster Canterbury is a continuing care retirement community dedicated to providing exceptional services for senior citizens, whether they are living independently or require assistance with daily activities or comprehensive nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and document essential duties to ensure comprehensive care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Engage with residents, providing activities and effective communication, particularly with those who are cognitively impaired.
- Relay patient care information to fellow healthcare team members, noting any changes through verbal communication and documentation as per policy guidelines.
- Show empathy towards residents' emotional, social, and mental health needs.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients and the unit.
- Exercise responsibility in the use of medical equipment and supplies.

Required Skills:
- Valid certification as a Certified Nurse Aide from the Virginia State Board of Nursing
- Ability to adhere to care plans, procedures, and instructions while accurately observing and documenting care provided
- Professional and compassionate communication skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
