Job Summary

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Aide to join our team in the Health Center. As a member of our care team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents every day.

Responsibilities
  • Provide complete care to residents within established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Redirect and engage residents in activities, and communicate effectively with cognitively impaired individuals.
  • Communicate patient care information to other healthcare team members, including changes noted, by verbal report and/or documentation of patient care provided.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to residents' emotional, social, and mental health needs.
  • Assist in maintaining patient and unit areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
Requirements
  • Current Certificate to practice as a Certified Nurse Aide with the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to follow a Plan of Care, procedures, and instructions, and to observe and document care given.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner.
  • Possess and maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
