Job Title: Vascular Interventional Technologist

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking an experienced Vascular Interventional Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Peoria, IL.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Vascular Interventional Technologist to join our team in Peoria, IL. As a Vascular Interventional Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases using imaging technologies such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases using imaging technologies
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any complications
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of experience as a Vascular Interventional Technologist
  • Associates Degree in a related field or certificate of completion for a Radiology Program
  • IEMA (Illinois state) License in Rad Technology
  • BLS (American Heart Assoc.) and ACLS (American Heart Assoc.) certifications
  • ARRT Registration in Radiology
