Foster a Customer-Centric Culture
Champion a sales-driven environment to meet store performance objectives.
Guarantee outstanding customer interactions through the implementation of the Five Below service model that empowers your team to delight customers.
Anticipate customer needs and cultivate an exceptional store ambiance.Oversee the execution and upkeep of all company merchandising and operational standards, ensuring alignment with Brand Standards.
May oversee Crew Member training, execution, and maintenance of all Five Below services (balloons, ear piercings, buy online pickup in store, etc.).
Develop a High-Performing TeamRecruit and engage skilled employees, ensuring they are in the right roles at the right times.
Ensure individuals feel valued and connected to one another, promoting a culture that appreciates inclusion and diversity.
Inspire accountability by providing training, coaching, and consistent feedback to your team.Communicate clearly, coach effectively, and actively listen to build trust and respect among direct reports.
Collaborate with District Manager and Human Resources for employee coaching/counseling, performance documentation, and employee relations matters.
Maintain a safe environment for both customers and crew.
Implement a talent strategy that positions Five Below as an employer of choice, attracting quality candidates and retaining top talent.
Encourage career advancement through individual development planning and performance coaching.Build a peer network internally and externally to strengthen recruitment and succession planning for your store.
Drive Consistent Business Performance
Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly business metrics and seek ways to enhance the performance of direct reports. Utilize reports and metrics to inform decisions regarding sales, customer experience, profitability, shrink, payroll, and staffing.
Balance competing priorities while recognizing what is essential.
Develop and manage payroll budgets and crew schedules that align financial responsibility with customer expectations and crew availability.
Ensure proper execution of all financial management controls, critical controls, and adherence to company policies.
Oversee successful receiving and ensure stocking procedures are correctly followed and maintained.
Ensure the execution of physical inventory and compliance with company data integrity processes.
Guarantee that merchandise flow meets company standards and closely monitor sell-through rates.
Perform store maintenance tasks, including but not limited to waste disposal, cleaning, and stockroom upkeep.
Ensure compliance with all Five Below Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Review all corporate communications and prioritize plans accordingly.
Achieve results without compromising quality or integrity of work and adhere to company policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Perform other assigned duties, including services.The Five Below Way

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
