We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Specialist to join our team at MCR Hotels. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in our hotels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preventative maintenance program to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
  • Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in guest rooms, public spaces, and hotel facilities.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
  • Verbal and written communication skills are required to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • The ability to react quickly and calmly in emergency situations is crucial.
  • Basic maintenance skills and proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and test equipment are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
  • Licensure in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is an asset.
  • At least 2 years of work-related experience in a hotel, apartment, or related field is desirable.
