Polysomnography Technologist Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of polysomnography procedures, including the use of electrodes, sensors, and calibration of equipment. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role, as you'll be responsible for collecting data, preparing equipment, and analyzing results.
We're looking for someone who is certified as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or has equivalent experience. A current BCLS certification is also required. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and have a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
· Facilitate tests and collect data
· Prepare equipment, record activities, and analyze results
· Follow proper polysomnographic procedures, including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
· Analyze (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review
· Ensure compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control
Requirements:
· Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
· Certified as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent experience
· Current BCLS certification
· Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
Physical Demands:

1. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
2. The employee is required to use their hands to operate office equipment.
3. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
