The primary duties of the Sales Counter Representative include:
- Establishing and nurturing business relationships with clients.
- Executing sales transactions efficiently.
- Advising and promoting products that align with customer needs.
- Handling customer returns with professionalism.
- Assisting in warehouse operations as necessary.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Exceptional customer service abilities and a collaborative spirit.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with handling equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- The physical capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and navigate a 6 ft ladder while carrying products.
Educational Background
A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Previous sales or related experience is preferred, with HVAC knowledge considered an advantage.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, operating Monday through Friday, with shifts determined by business requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
TEC offers competitive salary packages starting at a minimum of $19.00 per hour, based on experience, along with a sign-on bonus. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, life, and AD&D insurance, paid holidays, vacation time, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.
