Project Scope:

This role is critical due to the extensive migration of agency financial and administrative systems to standardized platforms, the need to upgrade outdated components, and modernization initiatives. Additional personnel are required to support these efforts and system implementations.

The team will align business requirements with current and future states to ensure systems are configured and maintained according to industry best practices, thereby supporting strategic initiatives and compliance with federal and state regulations while ensuring business continuity.

This position is integral to the team responsible for facilitating these efforts and transitioning to operational support.

Daily Responsibilities:

The Enterprise Program Manager will serve as a Project Lead, overseeing the daily operations of a team engaged in new Financial and Administrative Applications initiatives, tracking progress, managing enhancements, defects, and bug resolutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with IT Leadership and Finance and Operations to confirm priorities, make necessary adjustments, and identify gaps while assisting in developing and maintaining the project roadmap.
  • Supporting program areas in resolving reported issues.
  • Adhering to industry best practices and state security policies.
  • Providing technical support on the project in collaboration with IT Leadership.
  • Defining and tracking business requirements.
  • Ensuring technical requirements align with business needs.
  • Working with the team and stakeholders to identify gaps.
  • Following the IT Change Management process for system production changes.
  • Monitoring activities and user stories in Microsoft DevOps.
  • Conducting bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with assigned team members.
  • Facilitating weekly meetings with the support team as needed.
  • Participating in various project meetings, including technical sessions, product configuration reviews, backlog prioritization, and vendor meetings.
  • Reporting daily metrics.
  • Ensuring system alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrating mastery of technical and business knowledge across multiple disciplines.
  • Creating and providing updates to upper management.
  • Reviewing and collaborating with the team to ensure supporting documentation and training materials are created and maintained.
  • Engaging in collaborative efforts to conceptualize comprehensive systems and product solutions.

  • Assisting in the development of policies and procedures to comply with agency cybersecurity standards related to information risk management and data classification.

This position will require a commitment of 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the project. The selected candidate should be flexible with work hours, as tasks may need to be completed outside of traditional business hours.

The candidate will work closely with the Assigned IT Leadership Manager to identify, prioritize, and schedule workload in accordance with IT standards and procedures, collaborating with customers and subject matter experts for system design and testing in Finance and Operations.
