Compensation for this role is set at $31.13/hour, with actual remuneration influenced by individual experience, skill set, and internal equity considerations.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Revenue Cycle Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing project support, gathering and evaluating data, and developing project documentation. This position is involved in project rollouts, including training initiatives.

The Coordinator collaborates closely with the Director of Integration and Operational Excellence, acting as a liaison between Community Connect clients and OSF, while serving as a subject matter expert in designated areas.

Responsibilities include monitoring project milestones, ensuring task completion, and conducting follow-ups.

Additionally, the Coordinator tracks significant project metrics and key performance indicators related to Community Connect integrations and other revenue cycle initiatives.

This role also involves interpreting metrics and reporting, maintaining regular communication with departments and external stakeholders regarding both operational and technical enhancements.

Exceptional customer service skills are essential for fostering and strengthening positive relationships with Community Connect clients, Revenue Cycle Operations, IT, Finance, and other stakeholder departments.


Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Associate's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years in Revenue Cycle operations within a healthcare environment, focusing on areas such as Patient Access, HIM operations, CDM, Coding, or Billing, along with 3+ years of experience with Epic in the Resolute Application.

Licensure/ Certification:
CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) is required within the first year of employment.

Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail. Proven ability to comprehend and interpret statistical reports and conduct quantitative analysis. Advanced problem-solving skills in diverse settings, with the capability to translate data into actionable insights.

A comprehensive understanding of revenue cycle operations processes and the ability to provide analytical insights into these processes.

Familiarity with Epic systems and the ability to navigate effectively to demonstrate functionalities to clients and troubleshoot issues.

Willingness to travel as needed across OSF Healthcare and Community Connect facilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience in project management.
