Speech Therapy Assistant

The role of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant at Rodgers Speech, Hearing & Educational Services involves delivering coordinated speech therapy services to patients across various age groups under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
Key Responsibilities- Administering the speech therapy treatment plan as developed by the Speech Language Pathologist
- Accepting clinical assignments aligned with education and competence for patient care
- Fostering effective interpersonal relations and communication skills among team members to achieve desirable outcomes
- Maintaining compliance with fiscal intermediary and third-party payer requirements through education and coaching
- Demonstrating commitment to professional growth and competency in speech therapy practices
- Prior experience in pediatric focus and home health settings is preferred
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to confidentiality and data protection
- Valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance are required
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution
- Current Texas State License to practice Speech Therapy or eligibility for licensure
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $45,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience. Rodgers Speech, Hearing & Educational Services offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
