Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

The role of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant at Rodgers Speech, Hearing & Educational Services involves providing comprehensive speech therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. This position is ideal for individuals with a pediatric focus and home health experience.
Key Responsibilities- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can administer speech therapy treatment plans developed by our Speech Language Pathologists.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for accepting clinical assignments that align with their education and competence to care for patients.
- This position requires effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to facilitate team collaboration and achieve desirable outcomes.
- The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant must meet mandatory continuing education requirements to ensure professional growth and competency.
- Demonstrated ability to promote compliance with fiscal intermediary and/or third-party payers through education, coaching, and other necessary assistance.
- A commitment to promoting Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
- Pediatric focus and home health experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality of data and information.
- Knowledge of therapy skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution.
- Current Texas State License to practice Speech Therapy or eligibility for Texas State License to practice Speech Therapy.
Salary: $60,000 per year commensurate with experience. The compensation package includes a competitive salary and benefits that support your professional growth and well-being.
