Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Loss Prevention Associate to join our team at TJX Companies, Inc. As a Retail Loss Prevention Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Deterrent: Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store to act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers appropriately, demonstrate courtesy and respect, and respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company issued radio.
  • Incident Reporting: Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management, and document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
  • Store Safety: Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management to ensure the store is secure and safe for customers and employees.
  • Adherence to Company Policy: Adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Sound Decision Making: Demonstrate sound decision making skills to ensure the safety and security of customers and employees.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to take initiative and perform well independently, prioritizing and organizing workload and managing time effectively.
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand for long periods of time, and possess the physical ability to perform the duties of the role.
  • Experience: 0-2 years retail or security experience preferred.
