Nurse Practitioner

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a RN, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess patients, develop care plans, and implement treatments. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying needs and developing individualized care plans
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement treatment plans and ensure seamless care transitions
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient satisfaction
Requirements:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan
• ACLS, BLS, and TEAM ADVANCED certifications required within specified timeframes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Working Conditions:
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to stressful situations, including those involving public contact, trauma, grief, and death. The RN must be able to move freely about the facility, with or without an assisted device, and maintain overall vision and hearing. Regular and predictable attendance is essential, as is the ability to stay awake and focused during work hours.
