Job Description:

Job Title: Quality Auditor-1

Job Summary:

Rite-Hite Holding Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Auditor-1 to join our team. As a Quality Auditor-1, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure conformance to specifications and standards.
  • Review customer specifications and drawings to ensure compliance.
  • Verify quality assurance reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Work with the quality team to develop and maintain quality assurance procedures.
  • Audit processes against standards to ensure personnel are following specifications.
  • Identify and track recurring issues based on personnel, parts, or procedural issues.
  • Collaborate with the engineering group to update and maintain bill of materials.
  • Lead or facilitate problem-solving activities, such as root cause analysis and process improvement projects.
  • Conduct supplier visits to address supplier quality issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
  • Basic computer operations required.
  • Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience desired.
