Job Summary:
Rite-Hite Holding Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Auditor-1 to join our team. As a Quality Auditor-1, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure conformance to specifications and standards.
- Review customer specifications and drawings to ensure compliance.
- Verify quality assurance reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Work with the quality team to develop and maintain quality assurance procedures.
- Audit processes against standards to ensure personnel are following specifications.
- Identify and track recurring issues based on personnel, parts, or procedural issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering group to update and maintain bill of materials.
- Lead or facilitate problem-solving activities, such as root cause analysis and process improvement projects.
- Conduct supplier visits to address supplier quality issues.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
- Basic computer operations required.
- Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience desired.
