Job Title: Electrical Engineer, Energy Products

At Tesla, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in the energy sector. We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Energy Products team, where you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge energy solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop digital and analog electronic PCBAs, and system-level designs for energy products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Firmware, EMC, RF, Design Validation, Thermal Design, Compliance, Reliability, and Manufacturing Test Engineers
  • Own the circuit board electronics process, from specification through design, prototype, validation, and manufacturing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience and exceptional ability
  • Experience in selection and use of DSPs, microcontrollers, or programmable logic devices
  • Experience designing digital communication busses (CAN, Ethernet, RS-485, USB, SPI, I2C, etc.)
  • Experience in selection and use of analog sensors and signal conditioning circuits
  • Experience designing board-level power supplies (buck, boost, flyback, etc.)
  • Experience in PCB layout, plane definition, thermal, and EMC optimization
  • Proficiency with basic EE tools (scopes, network analyzers, etc.)
  • Experience bringing products to market that require international product certifications preferred

Expected Compensation:

$108,000 - $246,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
