Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at our Portsmouth location. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Ensure that our restaurant is fully and appropriately staffed at all times, including managing scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain operational excellence by ensuring that our restaurant is running efficiently and effectively, including managing inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all laws, regulations, and guidelines are being followed, including health and safety regulations, employment laws, and financial regulations.
  • Customer Experience: Create a restaurant atmosphere that both patrons and employees enjoy, including managing customer service, resolving customer complaints, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Other Tasks: Perform various other tasks as needed, including managing budgets, forecasting sales, and analyzing financial performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a restaurant manager, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge: Food and beverage knowledge, including menu planning, inventory management, and food safety.
  • Leadership Skills: Great leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff, manage conflict, and make tough decisions.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with restaurant management software, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management systems, and scheduling software.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to coordinate a staff, including managing scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Certifications: Serve Safe Manager Certified and T.I.P.S. Certified.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check.
