Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician at Davis Development, you will play a critical role in ensuring the physical integrity of our communities. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This includes performing minor or routine preventative maintenance or repair on all units and equipment, as well as removing and transferring heavy appliances and equipment from storage areas to apartments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and perform minor or routine preventative maintenance or repair on all units and equipment
  • Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment from storage areas to apartments as needed
  • Inspect and coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services of apartments after move-out
  • Use expert knowledge to abide by pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials
  • Schedule vendors and contractors for curb appeal
  • Walk move-outs to assess damages/issues and report results to the Maintenance Supervisor

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in a related field
  • EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification required
  • Ability to operate a computer, phone system, and general office equipment
