Job Summary

Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a CT Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT scans and assisting radiologists during invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and assist radiologists during invasive procedures
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining the procedure and obtaining medical history
  • Administer IV contrast and record contrast type and amount
  • Evaluate technical quality of images and consult with radiologists as needed
  • Perform basic patient care functions and inform nursing personnel of any changes in patient condition
  • Assist in code blue procedures during medical emergencies
  • Operate radiology computer system to enter orders and charge procedures/supplies
  • Maintain assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion
Requirements
  • High School or GED Diploma Graduate
  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered by the ARRT (R)
  • Advanced registry in CT, ARRT (CT)
  • 2 years experience required
