About the Position

This is a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant/associate professor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacology and toxicology, with a focus on drug discovery. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a successful research program, participate in advising and mentoring graduate students, and contribute to the department's teaching mission.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a research program in pharmacology and toxicology, with a focus on drug discovery
  • Participate in advising and mentoring graduate students
  • Contribute to the department's teaching mission, including teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
  • Collaborate with other faculty members in the department and across the university to advance research and teaching initiatives
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a PhD in pharmacology, toxicology, or a related field. A strong track record of publication and expertise in drug discovery is required. The candidate should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
