Job Summary

As a Neonatal Registered Nurse with TotalMed Staffing, you will provide specialized care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or Neonatal settings. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing neonates' health status, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or Neonatal settings.
Assess neonates' health status, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
Perform neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development.
Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care.

Requirements

Current RN license
BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
Two years of recent Neonatal RN experience
Strong communication and adaptability skills
