Job Summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their projects, and maintaining a positive and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with their projects, providing product recommendations and solutions to meet their needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and that stock levels are maintained.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 25-30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
