Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and file regulatory reports for various state and federal agencies
  • Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual filing processes
  • Reconcile regulatory payable accounts on a monthly basis
  • Conduct research on regulatory topics and provide guidance to the department and clients as needed
  • Assist with department regulatory calendars and identify and maintain schedules for necessary amendment filings
  • Collaborate with leadership on client-related projects as assigned
  • Work closely with department members on process improvements, training, and department initiatives as assigned by management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of two years of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience in Regulatory, Revenue, and/or Production accounting departments
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to manage complex spreadsheets
  • Regulatory experience, including royalty reporting to federal, tribal, and/or state agencies, and severance tax reporting to multiple state agencies, is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively
