PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Timely preparation and posting of month-end closing entries, with a strong focus on revenue.
  • Conducting monthly bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyzing and documenting account fluctuations on a month-over-month basis.
  • Reviewing Accounts Payable invoices for accuracy and budget compliance.
  • Assisting in the review and approval of month-end expense reports for the sales team.
  • Generating monthly reports for team leaders across the organization.
  • Contributing to annual audit requests.
  • Supporting various projects and requests as needed.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or related functions within a publicly traded company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to thrive under deadlines in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.

Accounting Principles:

Proficient understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and implement robust internal controls to protect departmental assets.


Systems Fluency:

Ability to learn and navigate various systems, including QuickBooks, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Dynamics, and CareHub. Intermediate Excel skills, including X-Lookups, Pivot Tables, and Functions, are essential.


Data Security Practices:

Adherence to data security practices (HIPAA) and other relevant compliance standards is required.


Business Language:

Knowledge of the structure and content of English and/or other applicable languages, including vocabulary, spelling, business-specific terminology, composition rules, and grammar.
