Job Summary:

As a Mobile Ultrasound Technologist at DispatchHealth Imaging, you will travel to various locations to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages. This role requires a strong foundation in sonography, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients in various settings, including private residences, skilled nursing homes, and correctional facilities.
• Demonstrate safe work practices, including safe driving, infection control, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Prepare preliminary technologist's worksheets and communicate them to reading radiologists.
• Maintain accurate records, visit logs, and reports of work performed according to standard protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving as directed by management or Service Department personnel.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography.
• Credentialed in medical sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Registered Diagnostic Sonographer (RDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, and walk up and down several flights of stairs easily while carrying equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
