This LPN role focuses on adult medicine.

Location: NV - HENDERSON - SIENA HEIGHTS

No weekends, nights, or holidays required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and document patient data, including vital signs, primary complaints, medication reviews, allergy information, health risk assessments, and status of extended care benefits.
  • Administer clinical interventions such as medications, treatments, and procedures as directed by the healthcare provider and within the scope of practice.
  • Assist with managing phone communications and messages.
  • Evaluate optimal actions and collaborate with the team to assign responsibilities for resolution.
  • Engage in monitoring patients with chronic conditions and extended care benefits, including eligibility verification and service status.
  • Anticipate provider requirements for patient examinations or treatments in partnership with the RN.
  • Support the RN in coordinating and executing the patient care plan.
  • Provide assistance to colleagues with tasks as needed, including training medical assistants and supporting various areas.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements such as laboratory quality control management, waived testing, maintenance of emergency equipment, and narcotic inventory as dictated by clinic needs.
  • Gather necessary medical information to present cases to interdisciplinary teams as required.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current, unrestricted NV LPN license or temporary NV LPN license with the ability to obtain a permanent NV LPN license upon expiration of the temporary license.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an LPN.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Experience with immunizations and injections.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $40,000 to $79,000 annually. Compensation is determined by various factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group adheres to all applicable minimum wage laws. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and a 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility requirements).
