Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs as outlined in the service order efficiently and in line with dealership standards
  • Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide time estimates for further repairs
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
  • Kia Certification is mandatory
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is required
  • A Level qualifications, including expertise in Diagnostics, Electrical Systems, and Engine Repair
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to use electronic diagnostic tools
  • Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer proficiency
  • A collaborative team player
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
