Surgical Scrub Technician

Position Overview:
As a vital member of the surgical team, the Scrub Technician plays a crucial role in delivering quality patient care within the C-section and delivery rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in all procedures related to patient care during surgical operations.
2. Scrub in and support surgeons as needed during deliveries.
3. Manage call lights and telephones when not directly assisting in surgeries.
4. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the triage room, including changing linens, cleaning bed spaces, and disposing of waste.
5. Provide essential patient care by helping patients with restroom needs and transferring them to various departments such as triage or radiology.
Supply Management:
Ensure the department is stocked with necessary supplies according to established levels.
Additional Duties:
Perform related responsibilities as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the surgical team.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Required: C-Cert Nursing Assistant, C-BLS
- Preferred: C-Cert Medical Assistant, C-Cert Surgical Technician
