We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc.
Job Summary:This is a 13-week assignment requiring a nurse with at least 2 years of experience in a med-surg unit. The ideal candidate will be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. They must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment and be willing to float to other areas as needed.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in a med-surg unit
- Float to other areas as needed, including the ED
- Participate in a 4-week scheduling period with shifts that may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs
- Be available for on-call, weekends, and holidays
- Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location
- Active NM or compact license
- 2 years of experience in a med-surg unit
- BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Basic cardiac arrhythmia experience required
The first week of the contract will include EPIC training, not to exceed 40 total hours.
Scrubs:White scrub top and scrub pants in sangria red, plum purple, hunter green, or black are required and not provided by the facility.
