Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Loyal Source. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing medical care and support to individuals in need.

Job Summary:

The Emergency Medical Technician will be responsible for providing medical care and support to detainees in a secure facility. This includes obtaining medical histories, completing necessary paperwork, and referring any medical problems to the Physician or NP/PA. The EMT will also assist with medical appointments, emergencies, and sick call, as well as document all detainee contacts.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain medical histories and complete necessary paperwork on detainees entering the facilities, including vital signs.
  • Refer any medical problems to the Physician or NP/PA.
  • Assist with medical appointments, emergencies, and sick call, including taking vital signs and documenting detainee's medical complaints.
  • Document all detainee contacts, followed by their signature and name stamp.
  • Ensure the medical provider's orders are implemented.
  • Coordinate health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
  • Perform record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.
Requirements:
  • Tier 4 Security Clearance required to start.
  • Must be local.
