We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team at Northwest Medical Center. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out therapeutic measures for patients in the Emergency Department while working with the emergency team as directed by the Administrative Medical Director or online qualified physician.
- Perform medical treatments, procedures, and skills that are within the scope of practice for a CEP as defined by ADHS and are also permissible by both Northwest Medical Center and the Administrative Medical Director.
- Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment.
- Engaging and effective communication and service skills.
- Adherence to policy and procedures.
- Process improvement oriented.
- Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- One year experience in a pre-hospital setting.
- AZ state CEP certification -OR- National EMS Certification as a Paramedic from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
