Job Summary

Paris Regional Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team in providing exceptional clinical pharmacy services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications across all patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough medication order reviews, verifications, and dispensations to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Execute medication reconciliation, clinical consults, and per-protocol pharmacy medication management processes to promote desirable patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance clinical pharmacy services and patient care.
  • Monitor and report adverse events and medication errors to ensure a safe and compliant medication use process.

Requirements:

  • Current Pharmacist certification or licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.
  • Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy, PharmD preferred.
  • Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education or subsequent training.
  • IV certification within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Meditech experience.
