About the Role

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting endoscopists and endoscopy teams with various procedures, ensuring that necessary equipment and instruments are available and ready for use. Additionally, they will clean, disinfect, and sterilize equipment according to hospital policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist endoscopists and endoscopy teams with multiple types of endoscopic procedures
  • Clean and disinfect all equipment according to hospital policies and procedures
  • Re-supply procedure rooms with standard supplies and maintain endoscopy instruments and specialty equipment
  • Prepare for scheduled endoscopic procedures, ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available and ready for use
  • Transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher within the department and hospital when necessary
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of Anatomy and Physiology preferred
  • 6-12 months of related work experience in a hospital or patient care setting
