About the Role:

The successful candidate will plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of Lockheed Martin products on ship platforms.

  • Work with the ship lead to meet customer milestones and requirements to reach shipboard system test solutions.
  • Solve hardware/software interface problems, define shipboard input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the appropriate system or subsystem throughout installation through trials and ship delivery/sail away.
Key Responsibilities:

The Integration and Testing Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate with subsystem and/or system test key stakeholders to identify shipboard found defects.
  • Perform analysis of test results and make daily comprehensive entries/reports to verify and validate system performance.
  • Work with the system ship-lead to identify discrepancy and performance issues associated with changes.
  • Conduct integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems have been executed successfully.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Aegis, Coast Guard, or LHA Lockheed Martin centric network platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
  • Candidate will be required on an infrequent basis to go underway on units and to frequently work on moored pier-side units. Physical ability to navigate steep stairs and ladders as well as work in confined spaces is a requirement.
Desired Skills:

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Military computer system platform experience (i.e., Aegis, LCS, LHA, Coast Guard).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, to isolate problem to root cause.
  • Shipboard troubleshooting experience.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to own the process and move forward with minimal direction.
  • Self-Starter.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Unix.
Security Clearance:

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
