The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, mechanical, environmental, or hydraulic engineering and project management experience with a proven track record of successful project leadership and execution in a technical engineering environment.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage engineering investigations, design, permitting, financial project management, and construction management for various water and wastewater facilities.
- Study alternatives, conduct feasibility studies, and provide recommendations and engineering estimates for capital projects to improve facilities and system operations.
- Financially review and manage assigned capital projects on a weekly basis, and provide technical assistance on capital projects involving multiple departments.
- BS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the water/wastewater industry as an engineer in one of the following areas: mechanical, electrical, environmental, or hydraulic.
- Proven track record of successful project leadership and execution in a technical engineering environment.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
