Cognizant Technology Solutions US Corp. is a leading provider of digital transformation and IT services. We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Asset Management Specialist to join our team.

About the Position

This onsite position, located in Columbus, OH, offers a unique opportunity to work with our Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security Services Practice (CIS). As a Technical Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory of new and used computers, printers, copiers, software assets, and licenses, as well as other technical equipment or supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accurate records of all assets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Lead and implement organization policies and processes to control and maintain physical assets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance asset value and minimize costs.
  • Create and modify dashboards/reporting in Service Now.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and develop processes to improve.
  • Conduct physical inventory in multiple locations.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in handling inventory management and asset tracking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with Service Now and other relevant tools.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $63,500 - $74,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, Cognizant offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life insurance, paid holidays plus paid time off, 401(k) plan and contributions, long-term/short-term disability, paid parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
