Job Summary

United Digestive is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse in Endoscopy, you will provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients within the endoscopy center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care given to patients
  • Provide care to patients in each phase of their experience
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • May be required to travel to a sister center
Requirements
  • Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Experience in GI endoscopy preferred
  • Membership in GI specialty or other local, state, or national professional societies encouraged
  • Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • ACLS certification is recommended, but optional
Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands

The ideal candidate will be able to work under stress, with moderate periods of sitting and computer use. Good visual acuity is required, as well as the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Standing and walking for extensive periods of time, lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 25 pounds are also necessary.
