Position Summary
The Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of financial reporting. This position is tasked with establishing and upholding accounting practices and procedures to guarantee precise and timely financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger framework.
2. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closures.
3. Facilitate the prompt reporting of all monthly financial data.
4. Collaborate with the Corporate Controller on daily banking operations.
5. Work alongside other department managers to achieve overall departmental objectives.
6. Monitor and assess departmental workflows to enhance efficiency while maintaining high accuracy levels.
7. Advise the CFO and Corporate Controller on non-routine reporting transactions.
8. Address inquiries from the Executive Team and other managers regarding financial outcomes and special reporting requests.
9. Collaborate with the CFO and Corporate Controller to ensure a smooth year-end audit process.
10. Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures to improve departmental workflows.
11. Provide training for new and existing staff as necessary.
12. Manage payroll-related transactions.
13. Support the Corporate Controller and CFO with special projects and process enhancements.

Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on Accounting is required; CPA designation is mandatory.

Experience: A minimum of five to seven years of supervisory experience in financial reporting and general ledger management is essential. Experience in a dynamic work environment is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC applications is necessary, with a strong command of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLookups. Familiarity with SQL is advantageous.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required.

Work Environment: This is a full-time, on-site position, and candidates should be prepared to work at the company headquarters.
