Job Title: Clinical Data Product Manager

Emmes is seeking a Clinical Data Product Manager to join our team. As a Clinical Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing short and long-range plans for the development of software products in accordance with market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define requirements for data-driven software products supporting better analytics, monitoring, and reporting for clinical trials.
  • Prioritize requirements based on business value, return on investment, and department strategic goals.
  • Develop acceptance criteria for product requirements.
  • Define data sources and flows, working closely with the data engineering team.
  • Plan product releases based on team velocity and business needs.
  • Lead product demos to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in regular meetings such as planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Provide clarification on requirements and acceptance criteria to the development team.
  • Evangelize the product within and outside Emmes.
  • Perform and/or coordinate secondary tasks such as communications, advertising, and development of training materials and/or user guides.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in public health, clinical, science, technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of product management experience or 5 years of experience working as part of a software development or implementation team in any role.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Previous clinical research experience in the life science space preferred (preferably in Data Management, Clinical Operations, or Data & Analytics).
  • Ai & ML-based software development experience.
  • Experience with integration of large data sources/datasets.
  • Understanding of clinical trial data preferred.
  • Experience with end-to-end data manipulation (e.g. ingestion of large files, different data structures across various data sources, data transformation, etc.).
  • Knowledge of key concepts related to software product management is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Experience working in a Scrum team is preferred.
  • CSPO and/or CSM certification is preferred.
  • Experience with drawing tools and UX design is preferred.
  • Experience working in clinical research or healthcare domain is preferred.
  • Experience conducting software demos and marketing presentations is preferred.
  • A degree in public health, science, or a computer-related field is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of browser debugging tools is preferred.
