Director of National Logistics

Clean Harbors is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our national logistics efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating an end-to-end process for managing transportation and facility scheduling requests across our footprint.

This role requires a strong leader who can foster long-lasting relationships with customers, drive customer satisfaction, and contribute to revenue growth and success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Lead a team of logistics professionals to manage transportation and facility scheduling requests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistics-related issues
  • Provide operational oversight of our Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Act as a senior escalation point for all logistics issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in logistics and transportation
  • Proven experience in a customer success or account management role
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
