Responsibilities
  • Perform delegated management duties assigned by Respiratory Manager/Director, consistent with your scope of practice and competence.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies in staffing and supply management decisions.
  • Participate in interviewing, monitoring, coaching, evaluating, and disciplining processes.
  • Support the mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives of Health One/HCA organizations.
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist required, with NBRC-RRT credential.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS through AHA or ARC required.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Required.
  • Neonatal Pediatric Specialist preferred; Adult Critical Care Specialist preferred.
  • Graduate of AMA accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
  • 3 years Respiratory Therapist experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication to communicate clearly and concisely with staff, employees, patients, public, and physicians.
  • Knowledge of respiratory principles and procedures.
