Job Summary

As a Laundry Technician with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to perform day-to-day tasks to ensure the laundry is processed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, and drying linens, as well as folding and distributing clean laundry to various departments. You will also be responsible for collecting dirty linens, storing and securing laundry supplies and equipment, and adhering to infection prevention guidelines.

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality care, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30-50lbs and push/pull up to 500lbs
  • Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use a computer
  • Knowledge of materials, equipment, and methods used in cleaning
