About the Role

Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation is seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our team in an ambulatory care setting. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initial Patient Intake: Perform initial nursing intake and prepare patients for examination, reviewing current medications and medical records as needed.
  • Exam Room Preparation: Set up exam rooms and procedure rooms appropriately based on patient visit needs.
  • Basic Patient Care: Provide basic patient care and treatments, including taking vitals, performing diagnostic tests, phlebotomy, and specimen collection directed by the provider.
  • Patient Advocacy: Serve as a patient advocate and utilize appropriate resources to support patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Current and valid California LVN License required.
  • Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross required. IV/Phlebotomy Certified must obtain within one year of hire date.
  • Experience: 1+ years of LVN experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
