Position Overview: Banner Financial Aid ConsultantAs a Banner Financial Aid Consultant at Strata Information Group, you will utilize your proficiency in Ellucian Banner to deliver implementation support, training, and technical guidance to our clients. This role encompasses evaluating existing processes, suggesting enhancements, aiding in the financial aid year transition, and ensuring adherence to Department of Education regulations. This position is available remotely and accommodates both full-time and part-time candidates.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver implementation support and training at client locations
- Evaluate and enhance business processes utilizing technological solutions
- Assist with the financial aid year transition and ensure regulatory compliance
- 5+ years of experience in the Higher Education sector
- 5+ years of expertise with Ellucian Banner
- Proficiency in optimizing processes within the Financial Aid department
- Familiarity with FAFSA and experience in generating Banner reports
- Consulting background in refining business processes
- Aptitude for troubleshooting technical and functional challenges
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge of SQL query language
- Understanding of Banner systems across various institutions
- Salary range: $90,000 - $125,000
