Job Title: Network Operations Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Specialist to support a network operations program for MARFORRES (Marine Corp Reserves) intranet in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to network alerts and events to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations as necessary.
  • Provide root cause analysis documentation in accordance with Government procedures.
  • Support data center operations and provide incident notification to Government representatives.
  • Document daily shift activities in reporting and ticketing tools.

Requirements:

  • Secret clearance required.
  • 5+ years of IT experience.
  • Experience monitoring, maintaining, administering, configuring, and/or troubleshooting Network Devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls).
  • Troubleshooting outages, configuration upgrades, and monitoring and reporting outages on classified and unclassified networks.
  • Network performance monitoring, network security monitoring.
  • IAT II certification required (CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND, CAP, CASP+, CISM).
  • CCNA Security required (3-6 month waiver period).

Compensation:

Total compensation based on experience level – $60,000 - $80,000+
