Job Overview

This is a full-time 1099 position that requires working remotely, serving students in California. As a Virtual School Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic success by conducting virtual assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and parents, and providing virtual therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to address students' specific communication needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective student support and academic success.
  • Provide high-quality virtual therapy sessions to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and California licensure and certification are required.
  • A reliable high-speed internet connection and comfort with virtual therapy platforms and technology are necessary.
