Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Miami, Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Completes assessment of patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and documents appropriately into patient record.
  • Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
  • Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
  • Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
  • Administers medication and assists the physician/cardiologist as ordered and within scope of practice during the procedure.
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time.
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transports patients as needed.
Requirements
  • One to three years' experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
  • Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), Pushing, Pulling, Bending.
