Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Miami, Florida. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and document their information accurately.
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medication and assist physicians as ordered during procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.
Requirements:
  • One to three years' experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
  • Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), Pushing, Pulling, Bending.
