Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Care Coordinator at The Laurels of Kettering.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide exceptional care to our residents while working collaboratively with our healthcare team. As a Nursing Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising the care services provided by our team members, coordinating the nursing care of residents, and ensuring that all necessary interventions are implemented promptly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the care/services provided by LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other team members
  • Coordinate the nursing care of residents, assigning staff capable of providing appropriate care
  • Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions
  • Assess resident health and notify physicians of changes in status
  • Develop and implement plans of care based on assessment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have an ADN or BSN degree, demonstrate knowledge of basic nursing practice with an interest in gerontological nursing, and possess a current state license to practice as a registered nurse (RN). Previous experience in a long-term care setting is preferred, but not required.
